Frequently Asked Questions

Find the answers to many of questions we get asked about Camping On The Gulf and the Destin Area.

  • Q
How do I make a reservation?
    A

Click on the Reservations link. Then fill in your information to continue your reservation.

The map is interactive. You can click on a site and see it's attributes (size, hookups, restrictions, amount of sun/shade, etc.). You can even add sites to your preference list.

When you've made all your selections, you will then use your credit card to put a deposit on each reservation. Every successful reservation results in a Webpage confirmation message with a thank you from us, details about your reservations, and a list of the RV Park rules. This same information will be simultaneously sent to your email address.

If you are trying to book a beach front site they  are now reservable online with the exception of 812-815 (give us a call for those and a reservationist will be happy to help).

If you need help with a reservation you can call our office from 8 am CST to 8 pm CST and we will be happy to assist you.

  • Q
Why do I have to have an account?
    A

In order to reserve sites in your name, and charge your credit card for the deposit, we have to know who you are. We keep all your information confidential and do not share anything with third parties.

  • Q
    What is the cancellation policy?
    A

There is a non-refundable reservation fee of two nights' rent per week of stay for every reservation. (For example: two nights' rent fee for stays 1-7 days, 4 nights' rent fee for 8-14 nights, etc). This reservation fee is applied no matter when you cancel. Upon arrival this reservation fee will be applied to your stay.  You can change your dates without penalty if you call prior to 7 days before your arrival date. Date changes are subject to availabilty and rate changes. For other reservation and park policy questions please see our Park Policies and Rules.

We recommend that you look into Trip Insurance to protect your vacation. We send you two links to companies that provide trip insurance for your convenience.
